While pursuing a career as a journalist from 1991 to about 2008 I became increasingly involved in amateur dramatics (having always been involved in drama at school) and then in teaching. I worked for other people until last year, when I decided to see if I could do it on my own, in the way I envisaged. SInce starting last August I now run seven classes (numbers growing all the time) and have more than 100 chllden on the register. We offer classes for 4-14 year olds in drama, singing and all sorts of dance, including street, tap and theatre craft, and always put on a big all-school end of term show. Our most recent was our own take on the Wizard of Oz. From next year we will run classes from the local theatre, the Epsom Playhouse, but my ultimate aim is to have a theatre space of our own, from where we will run all our classes and rent out space to other similar activities, and put on our shows. As a mother of seven I bring great organizational skills to what I do, and my background in writing means I am able to put together all communications and marketing material myself. Being an example to my offspring also makes me highly ambitious. Having spent a good many years taking my children to music and dance classes prior to setting up on my own, often held in inappropriate and inadequate local halls, I know there is a gap in the market for a faciility that caters for these increasingly popular pre-school and after-school activities.

I have had a passion and an interest in the Health & Fitness sector for close to 10 years. I qualified as a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Adviser 8 years ago, predominantly out of personal interest, although I trained private client's around my full time job. After leaving University in 2000 where I read Law, I worked in private practice solicitors, before joining a large global telecommunications company early 2009, where I managed their corporate contracts team. I managed and led teams during the last 6 years of my career and gained considerable experience in project management. It was an extremely corporate career path to say the least! I absolutely loved managing people and was part of the talent management team, together with being the graduate coach and mentor during my last two years. What I didn't love was the 5am starts, late night finishes and working weekends....all for the benefit of a large corporate. I felt I had sold my soul to the devil! So, in 2010 I decided to study for a Nutritional Therapy qualification. I decided to resign from my corporate position in February 2012, so that I could pursue my dream....to work as a Nutrition & Well Being Consultant. I have been working freelance ever since and I absolutely love it! I have built a good client base, that is ever increasing. Whilst I do help client's that are focused on weight loss, I also work with client's that are managing symptoms (from allergies) or medical conditions, such as diabetes and digestive disorders - to name just a couple. My approach is to treat the entire person, not just put them on a 'one size fits all' diet. I am passionate about what I do and I love being able to help people feel and look the best they possibly can. There is nothing more rewarding that speaking to a client that tells me that they feel the best they ever have, no longer have symptoms they have always suffered with, or have lost the weight they struggled to shift. My goal for now is to build my client's base so that I can work on a full time basis. At the moment I see client's from their homes or from a room that I rent at an alternative therapy clinic. My long term goal would be to open my own clinic to practice from. I'd love to be able to have a holistic therapy center and help people to realise and reach their full potential to feel and look the best they possibly can!

The first 10 years of my working life was spent within sales & marketing in banking & insurance corporate environments and also spent studying & gaining a HND in Business & a Degree in Business & Management where I discovered my passion for marketing, entrepreneurship & creativity. My work provided me with a real-life insight into how the average corporate worker thinks & feels meaning I can truly relate to them emphasise & get inside their head helping them establish goals, targets & vision & ultimately assist then in getting there! Motivating & inspiring action!! This is my USP! Since becoming a Mother (Dec 2010) I have qualified as a Reflexologist my beautiful baby boy is my inspiration and motivation to succeed in absolutely all that I do! Creativity and working intuitively is my forte… My ultimate goal is to combine holistic health and well-being with personal/professional development in the workplace and as part of individuals’ everyday lives. The importance of feeling good on every level helps in gaining clarity of goals and vision thus helping clients get where they want and need to be on a personal and professional level. If you don't feel your best you can’t be your BEST! During my previous career, mainly in corporate environments, I learnt so much not just in the field but about people in general – you only get one life – LIVE IT. It can be very stifling out there in the proverbial rat-race. Follow your dreams and be happy! Having self-belief, a positive attitude and vision is vital. This compelled me to further my personal development in the field of holistic health and wellbeing and so I want to share my knowledge and positivity with you! Through my study of holistic health I fully appreciate and am passionate about the theory of the importance of taking all of some body's physical, mental and social conditions into account. I passionately believe that the most important aspect in every form of treatment is in looking after the whole person. Mind, body, spirit and emotions cannot exist alone so why treat them independently? "Our Emotions affect every cell in our body. Mind and body, mental and physical, are intertwined." Thomas Tutko Sports Psychologist (B. 1931) Every day we make choices, I believe that we can all make lifestyle choices required to have optimum health, success, positivity & wellbeing. I very much hope you can invest in me and my vision and enjoy my dream and see & feel the passion & belief I have in Holistic Health, Positivity & Wellness Mentally – Physically – Emotionally Please see my websites: www.InspirationtoAction.co.uk & www.RandRReflexology.co.uk or feel free to contact me on: 07818 412 372

I was born in Guildford Surrey in 1963 the son of John and Jillian Hill. I grew up in Cranfield in Bedfordshire were I had a great childhood but for some reason I was never very good at school, I was more interested in helping the local farmers than doing my homework. Needless to say mt qualifications left a little bit to be desired. In 1982 I left my sleepy little village and joined the army for a life of excitement and driving HGV's. After being inspected by the Queen in 82 as a member of the royal guard of honor in Donnington near Telford I settled down in my working unit, quickly gaining the position of Commanding officers driver because of my driving abilities and calmness in stressful situations. Also being a biker my reactions where very fast saving my Commanding officer from harm on a few occasions. Since leaving the Army in 1982 I have worked on and off as a professional driver up until 2007, when a long term illness prevented me from renewing my HGV licence's. I did in that time to take 3 years off to build and run the engineering and technical stores for the fast ferry service Hoverspeed, and also I spent 2 years as a crew member of the Newhaven lifeboat, that was a massive honor and privilege to be a part of the RNLI. In June 2007 it was time to rethink my future career. I put everything I have learned and everything I am good at into a pot and came out with Valewoodcraft.

Helping others achieve their aspirations is the driver behind my business philosophy. If you help enough people get what they want, you will automatically get what you want. Accept progress requires change and understand desire to want something does not always lead to a desire to do something about it! Add in some goal setting and planning with the discipline to take ACTION and you have the start of an incredible journey. Enjoy the ride.

In my years in administration I have honed my Excel experience and have designed spreadsheets to include anything from calculation of hours of attendance/night rate owed etc, to designing a rota system that incorporates annual leave and who covers what and when in an engineering section to reporting on numbers of medical records cleared/added on a daily basis . The wages spreadsheet designed was deemed good enough by the xmas planning team to roll out over all of the Mail Centres across the south of england. I take great pleasure in designing spreadsheet that can take raw data and produce meaningful charts and graphs to be able to progress and improve a business. I would love to be able to set up a company to be able to utilise my skills to aid small companies that do not possess the skills to produce meaningful charts and graphs so that they can improve their productivity and also see where they may be going wrong etc.

I am 41 yrs old , married with a son. I am working nights as a HGV driver but would still like to achieve more in life.At 26 I joined the Army and spent eight years in the Royal Logistic Corp where I reached the rank of Full Corporal and saw active service in Bosnia 1998 and Iraq 2003. I left the Army in 2005 and have been working as a driver since. Before the Army I held jobs mainly in the service sector such as Restaurant manager, Trainee pub manager and all the positions leading up to them. I'm still a very active person and play football for a Non-League club on a Saturday afternoon. I enjoy spending time with my family and realize that although this business will involve a lot of hard work and time the end result will be worth it, not only in financial terms but for home life in general. I'm looking to start and run a long term business which has at present no competition and the possibility to grow nationally.

Studied Business & Finance at University, where I was intoduced to the business improvement works of Tom Peters. I also have been exposed and have experience in the areas of solution focused thinking, Lean, Neurolinguistic programming. My career has taken me through the areas of Finance, ICT, Medical Diagnostics, the Public Sector and Voluntary work. I have an interest in health & fitness having been introduced to the area of nutritional supplements a few years ago. This has been combined wih the exposure to alternative therapies, general fitness, weight loss and diets and NLP. This has grown into a desire to possibly develop a product or service in this area. I also have an interest in food, especially into an alternative healthy fast food option, possibly along the lineds of a soup based product or a quirk or play on the gourmet burger industry. Having been exposed to soft play and various fun related play through my family, I have come to love and appreciate these leisure industry options which allow great family time, and with some of the more active facilities the benefit of keeping children fit and healthy. I have always wondered if there a product combining soft play, splash zones and outdoor adventure play, Also an idea of a 24/7 parcel drop zone and collection for people that cannot always be around to accept parcels, or have time to visit a postal depot. I have a interest in writing, especially poetry and musical lyrics.
